1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Reelguru ("Service") at reelguru.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, visitors, and others who access the Service.
2. Description of Service
Reelguru is an AI-powered platform that helps users create short-form vertical video reels for social media platforms including Instagram, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and LinkedIn. The Service includes script generation, voiceover synthesis, video rendering, gallery management, and social publishing tools.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activities under it.
- You must not share your account or login codes with others.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Generate or publish content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or violates the rights of others.
- Infringe intellectual property rights, including uploading media you do not own or have rights to use.
- Violate the terms of service of connected social media platforms (Meta, Google/YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn).
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service.
- Use the Service for spam, misleading advertising, or deceptive content.
5. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all content you upload or create through the Service. By using the Service, you grant Reelguru a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, store, and transmit your content solely as necessary to provide the Service. Reelguru retains all rights to the platform, AI models, interface, and underlying technology.
6. AI-Generated Content
The Service uses AI to generate scripts, voiceovers, image descriptions, and other content. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before publishing. Reelguru does not guarantee the accuracy, originality, or appropriateness of AI-generated outputs. You must not publish AI-generated content that is false, misleading, or harmful.
7. YouTube API Services & Google Terms
Reelguru uses the YouTube Data API v3 provided by Google to enable publishing to YouTube. By connecting your YouTube account and using this feature, you additionally agree to:
Reelguru's use of YouTube API Services is limited to uploading videos to your YouTube channel at your explicit request. We do not access your viewing history, subscriptions, comments, playlists, or any YouTube data beyond what is necessary to upload a video and read your channel name.
You are solely responsible for any content you publish to YouTube via Reelguru and for ensuring that such content complies with YouTube's Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. Reelguru is not responsible for any content removals, channel strikes, or account suspensions imposed by YouTube or Google.
You may revoke Reelguru's access to your YouTube account at any time by visiting https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions or by disconnecting YouTube on the Connections page.
8. Meta Platform Terms (Facebook & Instagram)
Reelguru uses the Meta Graph API to enable publishing to Facebook Pages and Instagram business accounts. By connecting your Facebook or Instagram account, you additionally agree to:
Reelguru requests only the permissions necessary to publish videos to the Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts you select. You are solely responsible for all content published to Meta platforms via Reelguru and for compliance with Meta's Community Standards, Advertising Policies, and Terms of Service.
You may revoke Reelguru's Facebook access at any time via Facebook Settings → Business Integrations or by disconnecting on the Connections page.
9. Other Social Media Publishing
When you connect any social media account (TikTok, LinkedIn, or others), you authorise Reelguru to publish content on your behalf using that platform's API. You are solely responsible for all content published through the Service and for compliance with each platform's community guidelines and terms of service.
10. Payment and Subscriptions
Certain features of the Service may require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by applicable law. We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will meet your expectations. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reelguru shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction.
